The First Russian Arts and Culture Festival FROM RUSSIA WITH ART will be held in Hong Kong

“Knowing Russia, its values, traditions and new vision through historical cultural heritage and the best examples of contemporary art is one of the most efficient mechanisms of mutual understanding and the promising tool for strategic partnership. I believe, that FROM RUSSIA WITH ART Festival will not only be enthusiastically met by all those who are open towards Russia, but also it will take permanent place in Hong Kong cultural schedule”, - stated Russia – Hong Kong Business Association Chairman Ivan Polyakov.

FROM RUSSIA WITH ART is a cultural and educational event aimed to introduce Russian classical and contemporary arts to the Hong Kong public, celebrate the wealth of the Russian artistic and cultural heritage, and reinforce the reputation of Hong Kong as an international cultural hub.

Besides FROM RUSSIA WITH ART festival the 2014-2015 cultural schedule also includes: “Treasures from Tsarskoye Selo, Residence of the Russian Monarchs” Exhibition in Hong Kong History Museum, which will feature over 200 sets of exquisite exhibits on loan from The Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Preserve of Russia, including oil paintings, costumes, porcelain, firearms, artworks, and toys, and guest performance of the Bolshoi Theatre opera and ballet company in March 2015.

Gala dinner on the occasion of FROM RUSSIA WITH ART Russian Arts & Culture Festival opening, organised by "Artisia Limited", will take place on October 30, 2014 in Hong Kong.
