Working Meeting: Ivan Polyakov, Chiarman, Russia – Hong Kong Business Association and Chin Ho Lau, Chairman, Federation of Hong Kong Industries
On November 12, 2013 the working meeting of Chairman of the Russia – Hong Kong Business Association Ivan Polyakov and Chairman of Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) Chin Ho Lau was held in Moscow. FHKI General Committee Member Simon Cheung, Russia-Chinese Business Council Executive Director Alexey Kalashnik, Hong Kong Trade Development Council Representative Office in Russia & CIS States Director Leonid Orlov, Hong Kong and Russian businessmen took part in the working meeting.
The meeting participants discussed the issues of strengthening and development of bilateral trade-economic cooperation, prospects for cooperation between Russian and Hong Kong entrepreneurs. The meeting was held in the framework of Hong Kong Business Mission to the Russian Federation.
The Federation of Hong Kong Industries was established under Ordinance of the laws of Hong Kong, in 1960. The objectives of the Federation are to promote and foster the interests of Hong Kong's industrial and business communities, to promote trade, investment, technological advancement, manpower development, and business opportunities in Hong Kong, to represent business's views and advise the government on policies and legislation which affect business.
