Amazing Hong Kong and Russia Beyond the Headlines are the Best Success Stories

Russia-Hong Kong Business Association’s members – Finjecto Ltd. with Amazing Hong Kong project and Rossiyskaya gazeta with Russia Beyond the Headlines ASIA – have won the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide “Success Story” Award.

Amazing Hong Kong is the community page about Hong Kong on Facebook social network. Since January 2013 the project has gained more than 150 000 followers and more than 80 million views and has become the second most populous site on Facebook promoting Hong Kong as a tourist capital of Asia. The project’s target audience is young, active people from all over the world.

Russia Beyond the Headlines (RBTH) is the international project of leading Russian daily Rossiyskaya Gazeta. Since 2007 monthly supplements about Russia have been published in leading global media. The first joint issue of Russia Beyond the Headlines and the South China Morning Post was published in September 2012. The project aims at bringing original stories about Russian culture, business, politics and science to Hong Kong readers; facilitating media engagement between Russia and Hong Kong; and at regularly updating the Hong Kong community on the economic, geopolitical and cultural potential of Russia.

The award ceremony will be held in the framework of the 14th Hong Kong Forum on 4 December, 2013 in Hong Kong. The programme of awards for contribution to the bilateral trade-economic relationships development is annually held by the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide. The national associations and member companies participate in the programme. The contest is held in four nominations: Success Story Award, Grand Achievement Award, Best Initiative Award and Outstanding Membership Award.
