Russia – Hong Kong Business Association will be a Partner of the “Open Innovations” Forum

The Moscow International Forum for Innovative Development “Open Innovations” will take place from October, 31 to November, 2, 2013 in the International Exhibition Center “Crocus Expo” in Moscow, Russia. The Forum accompanied by the Open Innovation Expo is a communication platform uniting representatives from public authorities, business and science circles from all over the world in order to share experiences and ideas in management, financing, development and implementation of innovations.

One of the strategic goals of the Forum is to promote international cooperation in the sphere of innovations and to develop interconnection between Russian and foreign businesses, investors, science and governmental projects.

The Forum is organised in accordance with the Executive Order of the Government of the Russian Federation by the Moscow City Government, RUSNANO, Foundation for Development of the Center for Elaboration and Commercialization of New Technologies (Skolkovo), Russian Venture Company (RVC), Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank), Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises, Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New projects (ASI) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with the support of the Russia – Hong Kong Business Association.

Last year the “Open Innovations” Forum and Exhibition have gathered 5,000 participants and more than 10,000 visitors in one venue where the representatives of business, research and science community and governmental authorities from 39 countries had the unique opportunity to discuss in one global dialogue the world innovation trends in order to find the ways of modernising the state economies and of further technological development of the modern society. 714 speakers and 515 exhibiting companies have formed a unique discussion platform demonstrating more than 1,000 cutting-edge developments at the Open Innovations Expo 2012 in the frame of the Forum.
