12th Hong Kong Forum

The 12th Hong Kong Forum will be held on November 29-30, 2011 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Forum’s organizers are Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide. The Hong Kong Forum is the flagship event of the Federation that is annually attended by the national associations’ members from across the globe to exchange the latest insights and information on doing business in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland, to share their success stories, to tell about new initiatives and business projects, to discuss the advantages of Hong Kong as the world leading financial, service and logistics center.

The dignified Russian delegation led by Executive Director of Russia-Hong Kong Business Association Leonid Orlov and Executive Director for Russia of Russian-Chinese Business Council Alexey Kalashnik is taking part in the Forum.

The Forum’s programme ranges from panel discussions and thematic workshops to networking sessions and face-to-face communication with senior executives from Hong Kong and around the world. Among the keynote speakers of the Forum there are the Hon Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Hon Stephen Lam, Chief Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Paul Chan, Co-Chairman of Crowe Horwath (HK) CPA Limited, Margaret Leung, Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive of Hang Seng Bank, Jack So, Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Georges Legros, Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide.

Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide was launched in November 2000 with the support of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The Federation’s mission is to promote global co-operation and strengthening the relationships between the associations; to provide a unified global voice that will enhance business and investment opportunities in and through Hong Kong. The Federation is a network of 33 Hong Kong business associations counting more than 10,000 individual business executives and professionals in 34 countries and regions as member associates. Russia-Hong Kong Business Association has become the first member of the Federation to represent countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
