Russia - Hong Kong Business Association board meeting
Russia – Hong Kong Business Association board meeting was held on February 19, 2010 inMoscow. The questions discussed during the meeting were as following: the Association agenda for 2010, new membership in the Association, election of the Association Chairman. CEO of the Omsk Manufacturing Association named after A.S. Popov Ivan Polyakov was elected as a Chairman of the Russia – Hong Kong Business Association. The President of the “SAVVA Group” management company Nikita Kolesnikov who has been the Association’s Chairman since its founding became Honorary Chairman of the Association.
Russia – Hong Kong Business Association was established in 1995 in co-operation with Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The Association aims at the promotion of wide-scale bilateral trade and economic co-operation. The Association members are over 50 Russian and Hong Kong companies, including “SAVVA Group” management company, “Sportmaster” group of companies, “MOSMART” Group, Cathay Pacific Airways, Sprandi International Ltd. and others. In 2009 goods turnover between Russia and Hong Kong amounted to over 1 billion USD; volume of tourist flows was 32 thousands of people.
